sometimes i like to dress like a teenage boy

Everything in this post is from either Target or K-Mart and the entire outfit cost less than $50. Most the time when I go out I wear dresses and cute shoes and then I'll see some girl wearing jeans and sneakers and I'll feel a bit over-dressed. Then when I go out in jeans and sneakers I'll see a bunch of girls looking babely in dresses and I'll feel like I'm under-dressed. I felt a bit like that last night when I wore this to go see Girls play at The Corner, but I was super comfy all night even if I did look like a 15 yr old boy.

Lately when I'm going out and actually wearing a cute outfit I've been either forgetting my camera or having too much fun to bother with taking photos so instead these are ones of me dressed super casually hanging out with my cat in my kitchen.

I have a bit of an obsession with eyebrows. They're the first thing I notice about people and I over-plucked mine when I was younger so they're pretty thin/weird and I really don't like them. So after however many years of being insecure about my eyebrows I decided it was time to do something about it and bought Brows-A-Go-Go from Benefit:

I love it so much! I can't believe the difference it makes and I actually kind of like my eyebrows with this stuff on. I'm only a beginner so please excuse me if they don't look perfect but here's an example:

It was my birthday on Thursday so my boyfriend took me to the zoo today! I wore jeggings for the first time ever. I'd kind of been resisting them for a while for some reason (I'm not sure why because I have no problems with leggings as pants), I'd tried a few pairs on but never bought them but the other day I finally took the plunge and I'm definitely a fan. Buying skinny leg jeans has always been a big struggle for me. To begin with I'm fairly short (5'3") so that makes buying pants hard anyway, but also I think my calves are a lot smaller than they should be considering my thighs/hips - if the waist fit me then from the knee down the jeans are baggy, if the lower legs fit properly then I can't get the waist band over my thighs. So for me jeggings are the perfect answer to all my skinny jean problems! I think I'll buy them in some more colours.
