I actually wore this outfit on Sunday when I went to have lunch with Ash and Adele. It was inspired by my buddy Leah who wore something similar a couple of weeks ago. I didn't think it was quite blog-worthy but I did take some photos on PhotoBooth and put them on my tumblr. That tumblr post was reblogged by Brodie and then reblogged by the one and only Tavi (here) which convinced that it was a blog-worthy outfit (yes, I get validation from a 15 yr old. I'm 24 going on 13 and Tavi is awesome), took some proper photos and here we are.

I know that open toed shoes with tights is a really love or hate look but I love it 99% of the time. It means you can wear your summer shoes all year round - what's not to love?! And I think I've said it before but I'll say it again, if you're going to buy from We Love Colors SIZE DOWN!! I wish mine were a size smaller so they didn't go all bunchy around my ankles :(

Are you guys sick of seeing this skirt and these shoes yet? This is basically my staple outfit for this weird not-quite-summer weather we're having here lately. I wore this outfit to go and meet up with some friends for dumplings and I got there early so I decided to do the really typical Melbourne thing and take some photos in an alley. Tom says these look like pretentious band photos which is totally true and makes me laugh. The other day somebody asked me how I would describe my style and the best I could come up with was 'grown up punk rock'.

Last night I had Tom's (rather small because most people were at Meredith) birthday party at my apartment.

I met this really silly sad-face dog today.

And my hair is now ridiculously/wonderfully long.

Are you guys sick of this whole using-photobooth-to-blog thing I've been doing lately? ME TOO! I actually just took a bunch of photos with my camera and then realised I don't know where the cord for it is. Hopefully I've just left it at someone's house and I'll be back to proper photos next time. But for now photobooth will have to do.

I'd been wanting a grey crop top to wear over this dress for SO long and when I went to the mall on Friday I not only found one, but it was on sale. I also got this dress on sale and I am in love with it:

It's got little seagulls all over it and cute frills up the top and it was from Tokito. Get ready to see a lot of photos of me wearing this all summer. And please excuse my messy bedroom, I'm in the middle of tidying/re-organising everything.

So Retro Star have got a huge sale in their warehouse in Brunswick this weekend. I went down there this morning and got this amazing fringed real leather jacket.
