FAT AUS goes to the beach

I went to the beach today for the first time this summer. Sadly by the time we got there it wasn't that hot anymore and it was super windy/unpleasant (hence my super grumpy face) so we didn't get to go for much of a swim. But we did take some photos and then go eat delicious Mexican food.

I wore this outfit on New Years Eve when it was 40 degrees Celsius (about 104 Fahrenheit). You can't really tell but I've taken out my hair extensions for a rest/so I can properly brush my hair and so I didn't melt in the heat. These shorts are one of three pairs I bought during City Chic's 50% online sale. It's funny how about a year ago I would have never worn shorts and now I own about five pairs and they're one of my favourite things to wear! These ones are high waisted black denim.

Hey babes! I've been a bad, lazy blogger lately. I've been too busy with Christmas and New Year and having the flu to keep up with all the blogs I usually read, let alone update my own. But all the celebrating is behind us so I'm back for a hopefully productive 2011. Hope you guys all had a good holiday season xx

These shorts are my first ever City Chic purchase and I'm super happy about them! I've never seen high waisted denim shorts in plus sizes before and I love them.
